"After all, being a boss is hardly easy." You got that right.
I've never really been into podcasts. Ever. I would only listen to them if I had to. I would rather watch a movie, or listen to music than listen to a podcast. It's that simple. However, last year, my opinion on podcasts have changed. I'm always used to podcasts being boring or just being a snore zone. But this one, is not. Meghan Lamontagne, Malynda Hale and Jillian Leff are the hosts of the Boss Please podcasts. And this podcast, is not a snore zone. If anything, the episodes are super inspirational and really put you in a different mood. If you're having a bad day, just need advice or just need something to do, I highly recommend these podcasts. They are so uplifting and can do so much for you! Plus, you can relate to them in one way or another. Also, even though the idea of the podcasts were originally Meghan's, all of the girls worked together to come up with this amazing concept and format in order to inspire girl bosses from all over.
One of the main things the bosses talk about is in episode 2 when they discussed social media and how some people compare themselves to the people they see on say their Instagram. I've personally always had a problem with that. I would look at people like Demi Lovato or Nicole Kidman and think, "wow, why can't I look like that?" That happened for a while and sometimes still happens today. The bosses then went more into depth when they said that everyone has bad days. People like Demi Lovato and Nicole Kidman do too. The only thing is that they just don't post it. If they posted about all of their bad days, would they get the same likes? It's not like they're not being real, they just don't feel the need to share their entire lives with everyone. That is just one of the many things the girl bosses talk about. Also, the episodes are a free download on ITunes Podcast or ITunes. So you don't even have to pay for them! How easy is that?
It also feels like the girls are right there with you, they're that personable. They are real people too. They are changing the revolution as podcasts as we know it.
And in my opinion, they're off to a pretty good start. So, next time you want to go on social media and scroll through your feed, listen to one of the 14 podcasts already out. That's probably a better use of your time anyway. Plus, you might even learn something!
