Okay, I know the series finale ended two weeks ago, and I should've written this two weeks ago but life has been cray-cray, between working and preparing for college. Better late than never, right? After seven years, seven seasons, 160 episodes, the show has ended. I have watched it since the beginning and even remember watching the previews and thinking, Wow...this seems very mysterious and intriguing. June 8th, 2010 marked a very special day in the PLL fans' lives. Since the first episode, it kept us wanting to know who was this person torturing the liars, claiming to know all their dirty little secrets.
We saw the girls grow into a beautiful, independent women and along the way, their friendship grew even strong with all the torture all the A's put them through. At first, it seemed unrealistic that A was everywhere and was in control. How they tried blocking A once but it wasn't enough? There were intense and creepy scenes, but I kept on watching. Fans (including myself) were getting frustrated that we were not getting answers or were left on cliffhangers. If we did find out the answers early on, then the story would end so soon - and I didn't want that. As episodes went on and new seasons came back on, Pretty Little Liars, became one of my favorite shows. I loved the drama, the mystery and thriller and, of course, the romance!
Total #Ezria shipper! Yes, the whole student-teacher relationship is illegal in the real world, but it was a fictional world! They were the first couple on the show, and later the first to get engaged!

*******PRETTY LITTLE LIARS SPOILERS*********DO NOT MOVE ON IF NOT CAUGHT UP OR HAVEN'T WATCHED THE SHOW.
I wasn't sure what to expect for the finale. I wanted to believe every Liar would get a happy ending because they deserved it. I had read the theories on Spencer's twin and was shocked people were SO observant on those little details. Man, I wished I was that smart to catch on to the clues. Personally, I thought it was going to be someone who the Liars thought was a friend. Never did I think it was one of the Liars because it didn't make sense.
So the beginning was confusing. They were all sitting outside a restaurant and were talking how they never found out who tortured them. Then Jenna appeared. The camera went to Mona in a mental hospital and she had a visit from A. A year later, Aria and Ezra are excited about their wedding and their book turned movie. Then came the reveal of Emison having twins! Cutest girls ever! They looked nothing like Emily. She had a tan complexion, while the girls were white.
When the Liars were at the Resort celebrating the upcoming wedding and the camera revealed Melissa watching the girls in a black hoodie, I was shocked. In my head, I tried thinking of motives for why she tortured her own sister. However, it was Mona. Before it was revealed she was following orders of A.D., I thought she had fallen into her old habits again and had betrayed the Liars. They were playing with our minds. They didn't want to reveal Uber A so early in the 90-minute series finally. It was sad seeing Haleb fight, but Hanna forgot she had a husband and didn't consult him with major decisions, like bringing Mona to their home. The saddest part was knowing Aria was infertile. In their apartment, after she drops a glass, she breakdowns and tells Ezra the truth. Ezra being the amazing man he is comforted her and told her it doesn't change how he feels about her and they will explore all their options. At their party, the moms are there and some of them aren't happy Hanna brought Mona. They mention the basement, but don't say how they escaped.
Spencer wakes up after being slapped by Mona and she's confused to see herself, but really it's not. It's her evil twin, Alex Drake. The story began when Wren confused with her Spencer at a bar. He told her about her famiy. Alex began to grow curiosity and jealousy. She met Charlotte and they became close. When Charlottle returned to the States and never returned to London, Alex was raged. So A.D was born. It was also revealed she had sex with Toby, she kissed him when he was leaving with Yvonne, and in the earlier seasons, when "Spencer" was looking through photo albums. Let's not forget the airport scene, where she was breaking his heart. She wanted Spencer's life, including Toby. She killed him and his ashes remained in a necklace (how creepy!).
Spencer is left in there while Alex goes to Aria and Ezra's wedding. Ezra doesn't show up and Aria thinks because they fought the day before when she revealed she knew for a couple of weeks about being infertile. Alex grabs one of the twins and talks to her by a mirror, where she reveals Wren is father of the twins. Later on, it's revealed Ezra is being held hostage by Alex. When Spencer has a moment with Mary, she steals a hairpin and she's able to get out with Ezra, but they find themselves lost how to go out. They thought they were out when they saw light, but it was an illusion.
Earlier, when Jenna encounters "Spencer," she notices her acting strange so she calls Toby and tells him. Toby goes to the Liars and together they will save the day. Caleb finds out that they're in the house Toby built for Yvonne by tracking Ezra.
Spencer and Ezra's friends come to the rescue and take down Alex. She's taken away, but only to be revealed Mona took her and Mary to France.
At least Aria and Ezra got married after Alex kidnapped Ezra in a more simple ceremony. I really wanted them to get married because they were the first couple in the show. They're just the cutest. Hanna was pregnant. Ali and Emily were engaged. Spencer and Toby were dating again! Mona took justice in her own hands and trapped Mary and Alex and found herself a French boyfriend. They all were happy!
The ending was alright. Don't know why they had to end it like that. First Alison went missing and then Addison's friends couldn't find her. I would've much preferred if we had a glimpse of what their future hold. Did Aria and Ezra adopt? How did Haleb's baby look like? Did Emison get married? Crossing my fingers there is a spin-off !
