Music is the root to euphoria. It is something that can make awkward family gatherings manageable, the walk to school in the winter less horrific, a bus ride more eventful, and even car rides actually wonderful. I mean think about it - you can't throw a party with crappy music, and you definitely can't sit in silence in the car. That is just miserable. What could be better than music? The right playlist is what truly sets the mood. There are tons of songs in each genre. Country music is perfect for those evening tailgates and upbeat house music for parties is where its at.

So, I created a playlist to start off the new year just right. Here is your 2017 playlist.

1. "Sunday Morning" by Nick Jonas

2. "All Day" by Lil Yachty & PNB Rock

3. "Deja Vu" by Post Malone Feat. Justin Bieber

4. "Kill The Lights" by Alex Newell, Jess Glynne, & DJ Cassidy

5. "Stay" by Mac Miller

6. "Nights" by Frank Ocean

7. "Deja Vu" by J Cole

8. "Solo" by Frank Ocean

9. "Soulmate" by Mac Miller

10. "Go Flex" by Post Malone

11. "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur

12. "Rose Golden" by Kid Cudi Feat. Willow Smith

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
