Spring Break is quickly approaching, and for some, it's already here. As someone with a deep appreciation for music and the memories that hearing certain songs brings back, I thought it would be nice to drop some bops for your upcoming adventures. While this is in no way a ~complete~ playlist, it's something to get you started.

1. No Problem x Chance the Rapper

What better way to start the week than by driving down to the beach blaring some Chano with the windows down? That's exactly the vibe you pick up from the upbeat tempo and carefree tone of this song, big fella.

2. No Hands x Waka Flocka

Along with making you think about middle school dances, playing this song is guaranteed to get everyone screaming the lyrics and dancing along.

3. No Role Modelz x J. Cole

I can't think of any social function that I've ever attended where this song doesn't come on. Lay back in your beach chair and blast this through your (hopefully waterproof) speaker; you'll be doing everyone around you a favor.

4. One Dance x Drake

As overplayed as it might have been when it first dropped, I still vibe to this heavily when it does by chance come on the radio.

5. Famous x Kanye West

With arguably his best album to date, Yeezy did not disappoint with the diversity on "Life of Pablo." To be honest, this entire album will fall under number 5 (specifically Waves and Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2)

6. Shots x LMFAO

Self-explanatory.

7. Money Made Me Do It x Post Malone

One of the lighter songs of his new album, Post had to know what he was doing here. 2 Chainz threw a little extra magic into the song with his verse, and while we can't relate to what the song is about right now, it still deserves to be on the list.

8. Pursuit of Happiness x Kid Cudi (Steve Aoki mix)

For many, me included, this song reminds them of Project X. If that isn't reason enough, between the lyrics and Aoki's brilliance that turned it into a rager, this song gets everyone going.

9. Party x Chris Brown

This one hasn't been out long, but in the short time I've had to listen to it, I've learned all of the words. I'll personally be playing this all week. Also, Gucci is my spirit animal, so him being featured only makes it that much better.

10. Ignition (Remix) x R. Kelly

A classic, this song will make everyone stop what they're doing to sing along. It's inevitable.

11. Slippery x Migos

Another Gucci feature wasn't intentional, I promise. Culture has blown up, and with good reason. If you have aux privilege and don't play Slippery, don't expect to have that luxury again.

12. Backseat Freestyle x Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick's unique style and is refreshing to the playlist, not to mention that the song is what put ~most~ people that I know on his music.

13. Snap Yo Fingers x Youngbloodz and Lil Jon

Do you remember going to the skating rink in middle school and buying a can of Sprite for 50 cents? Yeah? Chances are, this was playing in the background, and all of your friends were skating in unison to it. Iconic.

14. Weekend x Mac Miller

Another laid back anthem, this one could represent either the last few days of vacation, or it could serve as a challenge to live out the lyrics of the song throughout the entire week.

15. I Love College x Aster Roth

Are you really surprised? Peace and blessings, pals. Make the most of your break!

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
