So you want to "be the very best?" You want to "catch 'em all?" Then playing Pokémon Go will help you achieve your goal and turn you into a true Pokémaster! Pokémon Go is a lot of fun to play and a great way to get outside and socialize with others. It's fun to meet fellow players and exchange stories. Whether it be talking about favorite childhood memories, what team you're on(GO MYSTIC!), or what your strongest Pokémon is. You can have a great time with this game, however there are some things to remember when playing, so you can keep yourself and others safe.

Don't play and drive.

I know someone who totaled their car because they were trying to catch a Pokémon while driving. They crashed right into a guard rail. Thankfully no one was hurt but the car wasn't in good shape. No matter how good of a driver you believe you are, it's never a good idea to use your phone and drive. So please put the phone away or ask someone else to drive if you really want to play.

Don't trespass on someone else's property.

Be considerate of other people and don't go on or into someone's yard, house, etc. If it doesn't belong to you, then stay away. You never know how people will react to you being on their property. They could be absolutely fine with it or become aggressive and violent. They could also have a pet that's not so friendly. If you absolutely have to catch a Pokémon on someone's property, then just ask them.

Be aware of your surroundings.

Make sure you know where you are at all times. Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in your game you don't realize how far you've walked or where you walked to. Look up and make sure you know where you are and who you are with. If you find yourself in a dark alleyway, it's probably a good idea to turn around and get back to familiar territory.

Play with a group of people you know.

They say there's safety in numbers. Playing with people you know and trust will lower your risk of being attacked or hurt by others. Besides it's fun to play with friends and family.

Keep track of your belongings.

There are people who will take advantage of your distraction and try to rob you of your phone, purse, wallet, backpack, etc. Be sure to keep track of your things or you just may be the next victim of theft.

Pokemon Go is a great game and a lot of fun to play. Just make sure you play it smart by playing it safe.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
