Being planner obsessed is definitely an addiction. Us, planner obsessed people just can't help that we like to be organized. We want to write all of the upcoming events and things that we have to do down so we don't forget. Part of the reason we like planners is so that we can have something to do when we're bored. Of course, that's not the only reason. We like our planners for a whole lot more than just the fact to write things down. Many people that use planners are some of the most forgetful people. If you're anything like me, I mainly have a planner because I forget everything. As a college student, I sometimes wonder how people survive without one. I have to write everything down in order to remind myself or remember what I have to do. It also keeps me on track to make sure that I get everything done that I need to do.
But how do you know if you're planner obsessed? Well here are some key things that planner obsessed people do:
1) When asked if you're free you say, "Let me take a look at my planner and I'll let you know".
2) You color coordinate everything inside (This means specific colors for specific things)
3) You never forget what you have to do
4) You have a monogram on the front of your planner
5) You are constantly carrying it around with you wherever you go
6) You are also carrying around all of your colored pens and markers
7) You ask people to repeat dates so that you can put them in your planner
8) When you're bored, you find things to write down in your planner
9) You write things down just so that you can cross them off (even if you have already done them)
10) You have to write every single event down just to fill up the lines
11) If you don't have enough of one color, you find things to write in another color
12) You get a weird satisfaction when you cross things off
13) You love to highlight "important things"
14) You also love to use sticky notes
15) Don't forget about how you write in bigger and different fonts to make "fun things" look even more fun
16) You fill out both the calendar and the weekly schedule with the same events (double reminder)
