This past month and a half, my family and I went to Mexico on a vacation: a long overdue, and needed vacation after this past school year. It was an amazing experience getting to visit three beautiful waterfalls.
1. Xilitla, San Luis Potosi
It was an absolutely breathtaking place and it is known as the Castle of English Edward James. The day that we went it was full of tourists from the U.S, parts of Europe, and Asia. It was a nice little experience seeing so many different people there. Although it was extremely tiring going through all the steps that they have there, seeing all the beautiful sights were worth it! What made this one stick our from the others was the fact that it had more architecture around that the rest did not, personally for me wanting to be a future architect it was interesting seeing all of the surroundings and how distinguished it was from the others.
2. Tamasopo, San Luis Potosi
Tamasopo is an even more wonderful place that is full of just waterfalls and clear waters! It is truly magnificent and was so much fun to be at but, unlike Xilitla it was less of architecture and it was actually build ore like a park with tons of vendors, stores, and people. It was full of people going around getting into the waters having fun with their family, it was also more separated by shallow, mid, and deeper waters for people to go to their skill to swim. There was even a rope swing over one of the deeper waters, and on the other one there was a diving board.
3. Last, but not least, is Puente de dios Sal Luis Potosi
I have to say that being at Puente de Dios was my favorite place to be. It was the longest walk to get to, almost like Xilitla it also had many steps, but they where much more tiring because instead of going up, we had to go down. It was a lot of walking to finally get to these cascades but i had a lot of time to just take in nature and walk around with cousins, uncles, and aunts. It was truly magnificent, a sight like no other. Also, unlike Xilitla again, instead of having architecture, it had some beautifully gorgeous nature. I really loved all of this and i know that if any of you ever visit mexico, go to these places relax, live, and love.
