If you live in Atlanta or its suburbs you have most likely been to the classic Georgia Aquarium and the Coca-Cola Factory (pretty much the first places you go to in Atlanta). And then you go again. And maybe again. At some point, you have seen all the fish you can see and have tried every flavor you could have tried. So here is a list of things to do if you live near Atlanta and looking for a day or weekend trip in the summer.
Savannah, GA
Savannah is the oldest city in Georgia, filled with history. There are many walk and trolley tours (the ghost tour is especially spooky). The architecture of the historic district takes you back to the roots of our state.
Stone Mountain Park
With campgrounds and festivals, the Stone Mountain Park is filled with activities. It is especially crowded on the 4th of July for its spectacular light show, so be sure to bring your walking shoes.

Just an hour outside of Atlanta, the Callaway Resorts are filled with bike and hiking trails, water activities at Robin Lake, and the largest man-made white sand beach.
