Magnetic Hill

This location is both scientifically fascinating and beautiful. If you enjoy science and are on a Leh Ladakh trip, you must pay a visit to this location. It's more of a fork in the road where scientific norms apply differently than they really do elsewhere.

The surrounding hills have produced an optical illusion for the entire scene. Cyclops hills is another name for them. On the Srinagar-Ladakh route, it's about 26.5 kilometres west of Leh. On your trip to Leh, you should not miss this wonderland.

Hemis Monastery

Hemis Monastery is a well-known Himalayan Buddhist monastery in the Hemis area of Leh, Ladakh, belonging to the Drukpa lineage. Sengge Namgyal, the renowned Ladakhian emperor, founded it in the year 1672. It is around 45 kilometres from Ladakh's main city.

In commemoration of Lord Padmasambhava, the famous Hemis Festival is organized every year. It is celebrated in early June, however the Hemis Monastery's gates are always open to visitors. You may wander around the monastery's vast and serene hallways and enjoy the peace and quiet.
