Brooklyn is filled with beautiful, family-friendly, delicious and history-filled places known all around the country. 1. The Brooklyn Bridge

If Frank Sinatra can describe the Brooklyn Bridge like that, then you know the bridge is worth visiting and walking over.

2. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Enjoy the peace and smell the different aromas within the Botanic Garden. It's also a nice place to see the Cherry Blossom trees bloom.

3. Prospect Park

A great place to walk your dog, have a picnic, or catch a great music festival.

1. Brooklyn Bridge Park

Bring out your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks for the family and experience the Brooklyn Bridge Park in all it's glory! Catch a movie under the stars and Brooklyn Bridge right behind you...It doesn't get any better than that!

2. Coney Island

The Home of Summer and home to the famous cyclone. Take a trip down to Coney Island and walk the boardwalk, go to the beach, or just to enjoy all the rides and games the amusement park has to offer!

3. New York Aquarium


Did you know the male seahorses are the one's who get pregnant? Learn that and more at the New York Aquarium if roller coasters and ferris wheels aren't your speed.

After all that sight-seeing, you must be hungry:

If you know someone from Brooklyn, you know how big of a deal Roll n' Roaster is. You can't visit Brooklyn without visiting the place where, "You can have cheez on anything you pleez."

2. Brennan and Carr

Take a stop to the southern corner of Sheepshead Bay and experience the roast beef sandwich from this beautiful and quaint restaurant.

3. Dolly's Ices

During the summer, I know one thing I eat a lot are Italian Ices. The one place I know that could give me gourmet and inexpensive Italian Ices is Dolly's...Your taste buds will thank you.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
