With Spring Break season in full swing, everyone is in travel-mode and ready to depart on their next big journey, including me! With that, there are tons of fun, exciting, and beautiful places to go and a plethora of thrilling, adventurous things to do, so I am sharing just a few of my all-time favorite travel destinations and what to do while you're there!

1. St. Lucia

If you're seeking adventure, excursions, snow white beaches, and crystal blue water, St. Lucia is the place for you! You can ride horses not only on the beach but swim with them, too! (by far my favorite part) Ziplining, catamaran tours, and mud baths are also a must do while visiting this gem of an island!

2. Belize

PSA: some of the best views can be seen looking down from the plane as you are flying in! If you really want to be immersed in the culture, ride a golf cart, the country's main mode of transportation, through the tiny towns, stop at local dives for authentic food, and, if you are feeling super adventurous, take part in the chicken walk. If you pick the numbered spot where the chicken decides to go to the bathroom, some Belizean dollars could be in your future!

3. Costa Rica

Costa Rica isn't your typical Caribbean destination, especially if you call the Pacific side of the country home while you're there. Costa Rica is known for its EcoTourism activities. My favorite by far was the white water rafting, and if you're lucky, you may see a few monkeys hanging out in the trees on your hike to the river! However, if you're not a fan of rice and beans, Costa Rica may not be the place for you because that is their go-to dish for EVERY meal!

4. Barbados

If you like beautiful beaches, transparent water, and superb food, this place is for you! Spend your days relaxing on the beach or learning how to dolphin dive on a flyboard, and spend your nights indulging in some of the best food (calories don't count in foreign countries)! Warning though, locals drive insanely fast on the LEFT side of the road, so best piece of advice: close your eyes during road transportation!

5. Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This one if for all you out there who don't "do" beaches! If beaches aren't your thing, try the mountains, specifically the Tetons in Jackson Hole. White water raft, take a tour to Yellowstone, or hop on a horse and ride up the mountain! The possibilites, not to mention the sights, are endless here!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
