Do you ever get the sudden urge to eat something sweet even though you know you shouldn't? Well...I can relate because I am pretty sure I was born with a sweet tooth. If this is you as well then you must try these five restaurants that offer some pretty unique sweets.

1. Rita's

Located on Medical Center Parkway, Rita's is hands down the best shaved ice ever with the choice of a custard filling. This is basically the "hangout" spot during the summer for those with a strong sweet tooth. With that being said, they also have other options such as; ice cream and shakes if you are not a huge shaved ice fan.

2. Cold Grill

I am sure you have seen the trendy "rolled up" ice cream by now. If you are an ice cream lover or have an interest in fitting in with the latest trends then this is the place for you. Seriously, you can choose two toppings of your choice and it is probably the best ice cream place that I have ever been to, that's an understatement. Cold Grill is located by the Avenue.

3. Donut Country

This place honestly makes my obsession for donuts ten times worse. You truly have not had a real donut until you go to donut country!

4. The Soda Bar

Who doesn't love a nice root beer float? Stop by the soda bar, get one of the best rootbeer floats you could ever imagine, and more!

5. Just Love Coffee

Are you a huge waffle/coffee fan? I know I am. Just Love Coffee has the best coffee and breakfast food in town. It is a great place to go with your friends, not to mention how many artsy pictures you can get.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
