5 Places I'd Rather Be Than Taking Finals

These are pretty fun places, anyway, so take this however you want.

5 Places I'd Rather Be Than Taking Finals

Finals week sucks, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Whether you are writing papers, taking exams, or staying around campus to proctor exams, no one really has fun during finals week except for, maybe, sleeping in a bit. I made a list of places I'd rather be.

1. Applebee's for half-priced appetizers

Ever since my friends and I found out that Applebees does 1/2 priced apps after 9pm, we've been moving our stress eating to there pretty frequently. I just love the idea of getting food for less money than it was intended. I need all the money I can on my 15 hours a week job.

2. Six Flags in 20-degree weather

I would freeze like a human popsicle, but it would be worth it to be able to scream out some of my stress.

3. Klondike Kate's for nachos

I don't even need 1/2 priced nachos! I just need to get there ASAP. And we all are starving after studying in Morris for 5 hours.

4. The mall

Even as crazy as it is at the mall right now with holiday shopping, I would still take it over the mass panic settling in over campus.

5. HOME.

I am so ready to pet my dog, watch more TV, and not have to worry about anything except getting to work the days I work. Oh, it'll be great.

We can do this, Blue Hens!

Daily Fun Lists

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
