Best Places to Eat in Ocean City, Maryland

Every year my family and I take a trip to Ocean City, Maryland and these are the top 12 places I highly recommend for food, drinks, and dessert!

1. Grotto's Pizza

Originating in Delaware, Grotto's is the home of the famous sauce swirl spread on top of the pizza. It is delicious!

Favorite menu item: Ham & Pineapple Hawaiian Pizza

2. Layton's on 92nd Street

The absolute BEST diner in Ocean City. Waking up and walking a few blocks to eat brunch here was something I looked forward to every vacation week.

Favorite menu item: Belgian Waffle with Strawberries & Whipped Cream or Cheddar and Bacon Omelet

3. Justine's

So many different homemade ice cream options to choose from makes this place at the top of my list. They are famous for the "Titanic Challenge" where you must eat 5 lbs of ice cream and toppings to get a t-shirt and your picture on the wall!

Favorite menu item: Birthday Cake and Coconut ice cream

4. Crabcake Factory

Arguably where the best crab cakes in Ocean City are.

Favorite menu item: Crabcakes of course!

5. Fisher's Popcorn

Tubs of cheese, caramel, or butter popcorn make me very happy from Fisher's.

Favorite menu item: Cheese & Caramel popcorn mixed

6. Fager's Island

Breathtaking sunsets on the pier of this restaurant is definitely a sight to see. Fun environment for everyone and the best views.

Favorite menu item: Crab Dip or Surf & Turf

7. Dead Freddies

The exciting atmosphere of Dead Freddies makes it one of my favorite places to eat in Ocean City! Beautiful set up for outdoor dining and even a kids space to play in.

Favorite menu item: Pina Colada or Honey Do Wrap

8. Dumser's Dairyland

Old ice cream shop style. Good food, and even better ice cream.

Favorite menu item: Oreo Crush or Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream

9. Nick's Rib & Steak House

Amazing, juicy steaks can be found here.

Favorite menu item: Strawberry Colada or N.Y. Strip Steak

10. Fractured Prune

Crazy and amazing types of donuts to wake your tastebuds up! Always a line here because it is a favorite of all the breakfast places in Ocean City.

Favorite menu item: O.C. Sand, Orange, or French Toast doughnuts (I couldn't just pick one!)

11. Candy Kitchen

Fun for the whole family to come in and pick out a pound of candy.

Favorite menu item: Almond Toffee Crunch or Gummy Sharks

12. Fishtails

Taco Tuesday? I know where I'll be!

Favorite menu item: Fish Tacos or Cream of Crab Soup

So whether you're going to Ocean City for the first time or are going back for the hundredth time, make sure you try some of these amazing places that make Ocean City the great place it is.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
