Are These Really The Best Places On Earth?
Photography of the world

The world is filled with natural, domestic beauty. There are specific places in the world where each of us have dreamed of traveling to. The most unique places on earth can seem like a dream or it could be a bust. They all have natural beauty to them and that is what makes them so special. The flowers or how the sun reflects on pavement could cause a person to think it is beauty when it may be an illusion. I have discovered these places that may or may not be the best place on earth.

1. Tunnel of Love, Ukraine

The Tunnel of Love in my opinion holds to the name of being the best place in the world. This great attraction is located in Ukraine and ironically used to be a train track, but became one of the most romantic places on earth. Though it was once a working train many people have now used it for weddings and other extravagant events.

2. Paterswoldse Meer Lake, Netherlands

This remarkable lake in the Netherlands is an attraction to most visitors. The lake has a really cool feature where the middle of it is iced, so basically there is this long line so you can ice skate on the lake. This attraction holds up to its name.

3. Pulpit Rock , Norway

Pulpit Rock is one of the most visited natural tourist attractions in Norway. It is a steep and massive cliff that looks like a huge drop. The top of the cliff is approximately 25 by 25 metres and almost flat. It is visited by 150,000 – 200,000 people every year.

4. Crystalline Turquoise Lake, China

Crystalline Turquoise Lake is one of the main attractions of the Jiuzhaigou National Park, China. The lake gets its uniqueness from its crystal clear water which seems to be untouched by any living presence for decades. The lake is also known as the Five Flower Lake of China. A myriad of colors, such as turquoise, blue, green, yellow, and so on makes the Crystalline Lake exceedingly beautiful.

5. Capilano Suspension Bridge, British Columbia

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge on the Capilano River, located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. With a length of 140 metres and 70 metres in height, the bridge is one of the most popular tourist charms. It is part of a private facility with an admission fee and this crazy attraction draws over 800,000 visitors a year.

So to conclude, are the best places on earth really that great? Yes, they sure are. The most beautiful nature scenes and crazy attractions are just right around the corner. If you ever get to pick where to travel in the world, you must pick one of these or the millions of other beautiful scenic scenes from all over.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
