Thrival Festival

Thrival is an innovation and music festival held in Pittsburgh, PA. It started as a festival for innovators and entrepreneurs to come together and share their ideas in 2013. In 2014 it expanded to a music festival as well as a place for innovators. It has continued to expand in 2015 and now in 2016 it has blend together music and creativity. It all began with a nonprofit, Thrill Mill. All profits go toward that nonprofit and supporting their ideas. They had two ideas in mind when they started Thrival. One is to start a place where entrepreneurs could come together as well as be supported and expand their ideas. Their second goal is to prove that Pittsburgh can succeed as a city post the industrial revolution. Thrival aims to bring Pittsburgh back to the powerhouse it was once thought of. Thrival has two days of innovation and two days of music. The innovation side includes keynotes, media panels, storytelling, economic talks, and things to bring the community together. The two days of music include a variety of music lasting all day. Not only does Thrival have a great message and future objective, but it also is a guaranteed amazing experience for creative minds and music lovers.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
