It's the happiest place on earth. Naturally, there are a million different places you can take photos to capture your experiences at Walt Disney World. But if you're looking for some new backgrounds or even some classic options, these are some of my all-time favorites.
The bridge at the Canada pavilion – Epcot
This is one of my favorites because it's so often overlooked. All the flowers in the spring and little house in the background make this location perfect.
The Tangled restroom walls – Magic Kingdom
Painted like Rapunzel's tower bedroom, this area is great for satisfying any Tangled-lover's needs.
Cinderella castle – Magic Kingdom
The stereotypical Disney picture place. But have you ever thought of taking pictures at different angles of the castle? Behind and beside the castle provide great alternatives.
The Bubblegum Wall (outside of Spaceship Earth) – Epcot
When you're exiting the ride building, this wall will certainly catch your eye.
Rides
My mom and I love to take selfies every time we go up the second to last hill on Big Thunder Mountain. The view of MK is a perfect backdrop. I also like taking photos of rides themselves when I'm not on them.
The bridge from the castle to Liberty Square (facing the castle) – Magic Kingdom
I've gotten some really nice photos in this spot. This is the sort of "different angle" I was referring to.
Rapunzel’s tower – Magic Kingdom
Even though (much to my eternal disappointment) you can't get very close to it, Rapunzel's tower makes a cute place to take some pictures.
The Toothpaste Wall (outside of The Seas with Nemo & Friends) – Epcot
It's bright bluish green!
The fountains at the Morocco pavilion – Epcot
I'd never thought to take pictures here until a few years ago, and now I love it! The colors in the mosaics make any picture pop.
The Tree of Life – Animal Kingdom
I especially love photos here as the sun begins to go down because the tree is so well lit up!
The casting agency door (on Main Street) – Magic Kingdom
This is really a fun place, especially if you're planning to apply for the Disney College Program or work for Disney.
Across the lake at Epcot (facing Spaceship Earth) – Epcot
It makes for a pretty view at night!
The Purple Wall (in Tomorrowland) – Magic Kingdom
This is the wall everyone on social media talks about. If you're having trouble finding it, just look for the entrance to Tomorrowland closest to the park entrance. It's on the right!
The flowers just in front of Spaceship Earth – Epcot
When in season, the flowers planted here make for a great photo-op!
Features like these should be taken advantage of. Disney does a great job of providing many aesthetically appealing areas. I'm sure there are dozens of other places for picture-taking, but these are some of my top picks for pics!
