A Journey Of Introspection

In This Article:

Photography is the art or practice of taking and processing photographs. A simple definition o for an art form that is far from simplistic. Photography is expressive and straightforward in its presentation but can be viewed as much more. A picture can be "worth a thousand words" because of its complexity or the power of the message it can convey.

Pictures remind of us of good times and even the bad all captured in a frozen moment for the rest of life or the lifetime of the photo itself. Printed or digital there is a meaning behind the pictures we take. There's a reason for the same 30 selfies in your camera roll. Photography, as discussed, is an act of expression of emotions from elation to grief. We take photos for weddings, birthday parties, funerals, graduations, etc. to remember a moment and to almost have evidence for it. What would we do if we did not have photography?

That question is bothersome to me as the writer because I enjoy photography and could not imagine a world without it. Photo development and its evolution has been sped up in recent years because of technology. Photo editing is a lucrative business and Instagram has created celebrities from mere photos.

And who doesn't like a photo on Instagram, we live for them. Instagram is a place to share your photos with others. These photos can demonstrate those feelings of elation, love, sadness, etc. A comment validates your photo taking skills or the goofy face you made. Instagram is a great platform to promote your pictures and improve your skills.

Photography is beautiful it's expressive and meaningful. Each picture, no matter how big or small has a reason too it. We can enjoy pictures in a multitude of ways in the modern age. People's expression shapes the way we view there pictures and interact with them. Sentiment lies within those millions of pixels.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
