Eucalyptus aroma fills my essence and eases my

conscious into a state of grace.

I do not feel the overbearing weight of my

world on my shoulders and my failing

infrastructure is put on hold as I'm

able to set my b.o.m.b. by my

side and I'm able to rest my head.

I haven't

slept that well in months.

It's as if I am in an out of body state

and I can't even feel my pen in my

hands or the notebook balanced on my lap.

I can't recall feeling this numb in a long time.

Never have I imagined that

it would've gotten to how it is now.

My head feels as if it's going to split

open whist I

slept on my pillow.

Sandbags are attached to my eyelashes and pull

my eyes down, drowning me in darkness.

Peace flows through me along with the minty taste

of wintergreen gum.
