In light of the Eagles finally winning a Super Bowl I feel as though everyone needs to know why Philadelphia is the best city. Sure, it may have a bad reputation in a few ways, but the pros out weigh the cons when it comes down to it.

1. It's filled with US history!

Mostly everything that made this country what it is started in Philadelphia! Even the Declaration of Independence was signed here!

2. We have the most passionate sports fans.

Our fans are known for being rowdy, and at sometimes disrespectful. When it really comes down to it our fans have a lot of heart. We certainly get frustrated when we lose, but we will remain die hard fans.

3. It's hard to be bored.

The amount of bars, restaurants, tourist stops, and concert venues make it hard to find something to do.

4. We're known for our cheesesteaks.

Tired of mediocre pizza shop steaks? Just take a trip to Philly and stop at one of the many popular spots!

5. The Reading Terminal Market.

This place has everything from food, to clothes, and even a book store. Some of the popular stops are Bassets Ice Cream, Termini Brothers Bakery, Beilers Donuts, and DiNic's.

6. The Art Museum is comparable to the Met and the Louvre.

It houses many iconic paintings from the most influential artists.

7. Boathouse Row.

This place is so beautiful. It's lit up at night, and has a great view of the art museum.

8. The Philadelphia Zoo.

This place is huge, and houses almost every animal you can think of. It's also America's first zoo!

9. Wawa.

Who doesn't love the best convince store?

10. We know our city is the best.

We take pride in having the best city in the world, and we hope you will too.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
