This fall semester students at Ohio's Xavier University will return to campus to find America's first Pizza ATM™!

For as little as $10.00 students can customize their pie on the ATM's touchscreen, press a button, and within just three minutes a fresh 12 inch pie slides directly into your hands. The Pizza ATM™ is open 24/7, holds up to 70 fresh pies at a time, and accepts both credit and debit cards. And from what we hear the pizza is amazing!

"It is the best pizza I've ever had, and I hate to admit that as a New Yorker," Jennifer Paiotti, marketing director of XU's auxiliary services, told WCPO Insider.

So I think it's time we find out ourselves. As we all know the University of Delaware is a large public university with a very popular main strip of shops and restaurants (pizza places included). However, it is unlikely that you will have 24 hour access to food unless you venture out to Wawa. With this said, I feel as though the University of Delaware and its students would benefit greatly from a 24/7 Pizza ATM on campus.

Now there are some things to consider. For example, the cost to purchase the Pizza ATM™ and where to place it on campus. As for the cost, $55,000 is rather steep but when you consider the money the university would make off of it, the cost seems worth while. Just think of the number of students who stay at the library late into the night studying, those out partying on the weekends, or those having late night study sessions in the dorms. Also consider, the customers the Pizza ATM™ would receive for bigger events such as sorority recruitment, club meetings, or even faculty meetings. At the moment, students and teachers in these situations are using GrubHub to have food delivered to them. They are waiting up to an hour for their meal and the university is making minimal, if any, profit. This would change if there were a Pizza ATM™ within walking distance, which begs the question of where to place it on campus. And the answer is LITERALLY ANYWHERE. For a cheap meal in under 5 minutes, students will travel almost anywhere.

So it seems, the Pizza ATM™ is ultimately a great investment for the University of Delaware. As Paline.com states, "past achievements and performances show an unparalleled one-year average return on investment (ROI) and a very low operating cost. At $10 per 12” pizza, the Pizza ATM™ can hold $700 revenue per batch." And on top of it all, the Pizza ATM™ is available to customize, so the university is able to wrap it in its very own name and logo!

All things considered, the Pizza ATM™ is a must have for the University of Delaware.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
