Many centuries back, cats were worshipped by the ancient Egyptians. They were highly praised for their gracious and poised demeanor, as well as their dauntless contributions to society. From killing snakes to controlling vermin, cats were befitted by divine qualities. My two cats, Ladybug and Pearl may not fit such Egyptian ideals but they most certainly fulfill mine. Growing up with cats is probably one of the main reasons why I'm practically obsessed. In fact, being a "crazy cat lady" with 70 furry felines sounds pretty good to me. Being a cat lover is just an everyday part of my life. I'm used to avoiding black clothes at all costs, finding hairballs beneath my bed, and being greeted by the door with many meows. Having cats takes patience and care but is most definitely worth the inseparable bond.

3. Purring sounds are soothing.

4. Cat videos are entertaining.

5. Cats describe our every mood.

6. Cats can make you laugh on bad days.

10. Obsessing over celebrities and their cats is somewhat normal.

11. Kittens and babies make the perfect duo.

12. Cats always listen.
