Perks of Being A Tall Girl

Ladies 5'9" and taller, I'm looking at you.

Perks of Being A Tall Girl

Being a 6'(ish) girl definitely comes with advantages and disadvantages. Lots of times, tall ladies decide to dwell on the struggles; for instance not finding long enough pants, not fitting into tight spaces, and the fact that most guys are shorter. While these are a bummer, we should focus on the positives for once. I think being tall ROCKS and here are a few reasons why.

We can reach things that are high up.

Top shelf? We got it. At least once while shopping I hear, "Um hey, can you help me reach this?" Sure, it's what I'm here for I guess.

We can see over the top of crowds at concerts.

We don't even need front row seats, we can see everything. When people behind you complain that you're blocking their view, let them know that you are the view. :)

People always assume we are good at sports.

Ok usually we are. Rebounding and blocking are our specialties. Long legs and arms are good for something.

It's easy bonding with other tall girls.

"You're tall and I'm tall too! Let's be friends" is usually how it goes.

We get to eat more.

We're just able to store more calories in the extra inches we have. I'm not complaining.

Tall people can walk to places faster.

Short friends always have to jog to keep up with you. We just learn to wait up for them.

We always get shotgun.

We can always count on the fact that we have long legs to ensure us the front seat.

It's proven that tall people get paid more.

This is awesome! Check it out for yourself here: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2015/05/the-financial-perks-of-being-tall/393518/.

We give the greatest hugs.

We're at the perfect huggable height. If you don't believe me, try it out for yourself!

Despite all the negative things you may hear about being tall, try to remember the positives. I believe being tall is really a blessing. Own your height and stand tall ladies!

And just as a reminder...

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. Chances are, while personalities may overlap, each person in your friend group holds his or her own place. It is the differences which bring the groups together and keep them functioning.
