I have always been the quiet type. All through my life, I have been the person to stand back and watch or listen to what is going on around me rather than jumping into things. And my quietness isn't always a choice - a lot of it is due to my anxiety.
For the longest time, I thought there was something wrong with me. I would let myself hover in the background while others had their engaging conversations and experiences.
