Don't get me wrong, being a girl is cool. I'm all for feminism and girl power, but at the end of the day I have to be honest- sometimes I feel life would have been easier as boy. To me, they've always had it easy. Sports, basketball shorts, perfect hair all the time.
Despite the occasional free smoothies I'll get at Jamba based on my appearance (I don’t know whether to be offended, but will gladly accept the complementary smoothie) there have to be some other perks.
So I thought to myself, what are the good things about being a girl?
1. Better handwriting. My brother’s handwriting is complete chicken scratch. Girls by nature just write neater so kudos to us
2. We're more organized. I'm probably one of the messier people you'll meet, but I'm still more organized than a boy. Ha!
3. We mature faster. Don't even bother talking to boys your same age, they are mentally 4 years younger.
4. Cuter clothes. Let's face it: girls clothes are way cuter and have a much wider variety. Boys have no accessories and settle for tie clips.
5. Makeup. I'm not a crazy make up artist, but I do appreciate what wonders a simple line of eyeliner can do
6. Range and depth of emotion that men can’t even fathom. Unlike men who are cyborgs, we are able to appropriately process and express emotion
7. Benefits of chivalry. We don't have to waste time opening doors for our selves
8. Professional stalking. Having 2 X chromosomes basically means the innate art of stalking is programmed into your DNA.
9. Communication skills. Unlike boys, if something is bothering us we know how to let someone know
10. The more beautiful gender. Girls are naturally beautiful and can openly appreciate each other's beauty.
In conclusion...
Girls rule, boys drool.
