Having long hair is both a blessing and a curse. You can do just about anything with it, and it’s awesome for those wind blowing in your hair pictures.

But it’s also annoying as hell. My hair is nearly touching my butt and I often catch myself, as well as others with long hair, saying these same things.

1. Get off my hair/You’re on my hair

My boyfriend is constantly laying on my hair and ripping it out of my skull.

2. I haven’t brushed my hair in days

Not exactly proud of this one, but I don’t brush my hair as much as I should.

3. Washing my hair makes my arms tired

My arms seriously get tired when I was it because there’s so much.

4. I should cut my hair

I say it all the time but don’t mean it.

5. I hate my hair

No, I don’t.

6. You have one of my hairs on you

Once I have been in a space, my hair stays there for a lifetime.

7. I’m shedding

I shed more than a dog, and it’s worse because my hairs are two and a half feet long.

8. That’s not a spider in the drain, it’s my hair

You’d think I’d be bald with the clumps of hair I leave in the drains.

9. I need a hair tie

My hair is too damn long to do just about anything without it getting in my face.

10. My hair is stuck in my jewelry

Not only does my hair gets wrapped around my earrings, but I have nearly yanked out my nipple piercings with my hair too.

11. My baby hairs are as long as your regular hair.

My baby hairs are the most annoying thing on my body, I swear they have minds of their own.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
