The 68th Emmy Awards premiered on Sunday, September 18th on ABC. The night was one to behold: television stars mingled on the red carpet and hated up other celebrities before the show.
Host of the show, Jimmy Kimmel, kept the show alive with some light-hearted jokes, poking fun at apprentice creator, Mark Burnett for giving Trump enough confidence to run for president. The star of the night was FX newcomer, "The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story."
The 10 episode limited series is held in high acclaim by critics and audience members alike. The five awards earned by the show include Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series and Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series.
Other big winners of the night included HBO series, "Game of Thrones" ; as well as "Mr. Robot" star Rami Malek and Tatiana Maslany of "Orphan Black."
