Recently in the news, Giants kicker, Josh Brown has confessed to physically abusing his wife to his football team. In other news about the NFL, former Saints safety Darren Sharper is facing twenty years for rape chargers. But yet, it seems like every time something about the NFL is on Facebook, Twitter, or TV and its not an actual game, it is still about Collin Kaepernick. These social media/media outlets still seem to attack Kaepernick even though there has been 6 arrests in the past 5 months. They are making Collin out to be a criminal for a peaceful protest. What the media should really focus on is the amount of crimes players are involved in. Kaepernick has no criminal record, but people seem to be more offended by that than rape or domestic violence?! Are we serous people?!

There are currently 27 players in the NFL who have been arrested multiple times. No one is bringing that stat up. Also, this had got a ton of national attention, but the NFL tried to cover up what happened between Ray Rice and his wife in the elevator, that should raise some eyebrows. Also Antonio Cromartie was released from the Indianapolis Colts because he kneeled during the anthem but that had gotten no media attention, where is the outrage for that?!

Now I am not saying that players who have committed crimes do not deserve a second chance. I am saying, fans and media should be more outraged on the crimes that are committed by players instead of a peaceful protest that has a solid reason behind it (if you actually care to listen to what Collin Kaepernick said). Another thing that should really bother you, the NFL would rather put millions of dollars of research to see how a football was deflated and punishing Tom Brady with a 4 game suspension, than help the victims of the crimes players have committed. Well they could have done a lot of better things with that money, like help local schools around the city's football teams, or donate to hospitals, but no they need to find out if Brady really cheated or not.

The NFL, the media and some fans need to get their priorities straight when it comes to big issues. If the NFL does not fix their issues they will continue to lose viewers/fans.
