If you're like me, you absolutely love sleep. Whether it be sleeping all night, or sleeping late in the morning, or my personal favorite napping, sleep is always on your mind. Here are eight things that have probably gone through your mind if you're a lover of sleep too.

1. "Oh my gosh I'm SO TIRED"

The most common thought that goes through my head is "OMG so tired!". It's not that I don't get plenty of sleep at night, it's just that I can't ever get enough.

2. "It's my nap time"

It's 3:00 already?! Looks like it's my nap time! As all of my friends can tell you, I love napping and when it gets later than 3:00 and I haven't had my nap, I get cranky. Naps must stay on a very tight schedule meaning if I don't nap at the right time, be ready for a very crabby girl.

3. "If I don't get to sleep soon I'm going to cry"

Many people at some point in their life have experienced tears due to exhaustion however it's not an every day occurrence for them. Most days by the end of the night, I am uttering these words to anyone who will listen. Sure, I sound like a baby but when sleep is involved, who cares?

4. "Could I nap there?"

Everywhere I go I think "could I nap there?" Typically these places include cars, restaurants, schools, libraries, and typically anywhere else that has somewhere I could lie down. Especially with the busy season of school coming up, this thought will cross any nap-lovers mind regularly.

5. "I can go out later, I just have to take a nap first"

Regularly when my friends see if I want to hang out right after work, I say I have to nap first. It's not that I always want to delay the plans, it's just that I need to spend a few hours being swaddled in my sheets. They all understand though, they are my friends after all!

6. "I didn't sleep well last night, I only got eight hours."

In an ideal night, I will get 10+ hours of sleep. Sure it's a lot but when it takes that much to feel rested, and you have a love affair with your bed, nothing sounds more heavenly than a full nights rest.

7. "Want to nap together?!"

Some of the best naps come from napping with another person. Whether it be a parent, a sibling, a significant other, a best friend, or even a pet, naps with someone (or something) else can be extremely soothing.

8. "I guess I can skip my nap for you today"

Ultimately, naps are great but when you're with someone you care about, spending time with them and doing things they like comes first. Even though naps are a beautiful thing, you do miss out on life during those three hours you are asleep. Make sure sometimes you drink some coffee, wake up a little, and spend time with those around you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
