It had been five days and I still feel like I am the concert. I close my eyes and I am back at the concert dancing.

1. There is more than one band playing

As stupid as that sounds I went to my first concert with the idea that my band will be the only band play —not that I did not enjoy it. It was a good surprise that left me in a state of shock and awe.

2. You will be standing the whole time

The concert was a standing one — do they even have sitting ones. Needless to stay my back, legs and feet were hurting. That did not stop me from dancing so it was not that bad.

3. People will push to get a better spot

I was push so many times I got bruises. People mainly push those in front and when a mosh pit start you want to move away. Needless to say, I moved like a handful of times to stay away from mosh pits, people trying to get by and people who lean on you for support.

4. You should use the bathroom before the concert starts

Once the music starts people are moving forward not backward. They want to be closer to the music. If you leave, you just lost your close spot. So use the bathroom before the hours of music start.

5. Don’t bring too much but maybe bring water

During my concert, I had a jacket — which I regret not checking into coat check — around my waist. To say moving was awkward is an understatement. Water, on the one hand, is necessary. People are on top of you, you are dancing or jumping and sweating a lot. You will get tired and thirsty. When you are having fun you do not want to leave. People were begging the stage crew for water and rationing it around — which was both heartwarming and kind of too much.

6. You will be tired the next morning

The next morning— or rather when I woke up later that morning— I could not move. I had a class that morning. I still made it but my legs, head hurt and I was tired.

7. You should try and go with someone

During the concert, there are a lot of amazing this that happen. Such as, Born of Osiris’s Joe Buras did a backflip on stage as the strobe lights were flashing. That was amazing and I would have loved for someone — one of my close friends — be with me in that moment. So try to go with someone if you can.

8.You live in the concert for time to come

It had been five days and I still feel like I am the concert. I close my eyes and I am back at the concert dancing. I am still listening to the bands and remembering them singing in front of me. When it is all say and done I do not remember being tired, impatiently waiting for my band to come one or wanting to use the bathroom too bad. I remember the bands, the songs they sang, what they said to the crowd and their vibes.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
