To The People Who Are A Little Broken

It's okay if life gives you lemons, and you don't make lemonade.

The process of healing isn't the same for everyone. There isn't a set beginning and end date for the hurting. You take what life gives you, and you adapt. So while the hurt may be indefinite, know it won't last forever. And yes, it will be hard. Getting out of bed seems to be an easy task for most, but for you- it may be everest, and that's okay. It's okay to dread that rising sun and the responsibilities that come with it, because it's scary. It's okay to be a little reclusive, you've earned it. It's okay to need people, and it's okay to not. It's okay if the things that used to bring you joy, just don't anymore. It happens. It's okay if life gives you lemons, and you don't make lemonade. It's okay if you just need to cry.

Life gets overwhelming and that's something everyone understands. It's okay if you've eaten so much chocolate that your stomach hurts. And this may feel like it's gone on forever, but soon enough, you're climbing everest and getting out of bed. You're looking out your window, and seeing the sunrise in a whole new light. You're planting flowers, dancing in the shower, and laughing so hard that you cry. To the people who are a little broken- it won't last forever.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone does not try to help their self before asking others. How can someone else be expected to help you if you do not first do that yourself? I'm all about helping those that need it when the time comes, however whenever someone does not even attempt to help him or herself first then that becomes a huge problem. As we all have learned, people tend to take advantage of us in one way or another. I am sure we all read this short story when we were younger and it follows that same principle:
