My roommate has Satellite radio in her car. When we need an escape from our studies, we cannot get to her ride fast enough. We both settle comfortably into our seats, put the car in drive and take the streets behind our university listening to the music that provides our craved getaway.
The music consumes her speakers and we get lost in the tunes we love the most -- that is until Kanye West's track "Fade" comes on. My roommate looks at me and yells "No!" with a laugh as she knows I am going to force her to let me listen to at least the first minute of that song. She hates it with everything in her, but she lets that hatred subside so that she can let me vibe to my current anthem.
What she doesn't understand is that when I hear that song, I envision myself in an arena full of thousands of my closest musical kindred spirits and there in front of us on a floating stage exhibiting fogged white lighting is Yeezy himself. I can feel in my mind the voices simultaneously screaming the lyrics along with the artist on stage. I can smell the mix of strangers becoming best friends underneath one ceiling. This is the power of music -- the power of Kanye West's Saint Pablo tour.
I have day dreamed about this show ever since the tour started for these following reasons.
1. Stage Design
The creative setting of the stage is extravagant. The floating platform is 16-by-20 foot stage 15 feet above the audience. The flying structure provides an 80's like vibe for the concert attendees as the floor seating becomes one big party -- people pushing and shoving into each other mosh pit style.

2. The Set List
West's track of songs at every show can range from 30 to 32. He gives his fans a heaving dose of sound goodness from Life of Pablo playing titles like "Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1", "Famous", and "Fade". West also pays tribute to his hits like "Stronger" and "Heartless". To hear the beginning of "Stronger" in the midst of thousands of music lovers "feeling like Pablo" would be enough for me.

3. The Motivational Speeches
Everyone knows that West is not shy when it comes to speaking for what he's passionate about. Outside of his music and brand, prolonging rants on social issues make West known, and you better believe you will get a taste of that at one of his stops on the Saint Pablo tour. West's unapologetic opinion and vocal ability to transform his thoughts into words will have his audience feel as if the musical performances is only part of what West has to offer on tour.

To witness the fearlessness and intellectual art that is the Saint Pablo tour will be a once in a life time experience for those who are brave enough to embrace. Now it is time for me to step outside of my roommate's car and into the arena to hear "Fade" for more than a minute.
