We all know and love him from Grey's Anatomy, and some of us are still not over his fictional death (I will never be over it.) So if you ever feel like you're missing McDreamy, here are some movies you can watch and drool over him.

1. Made of Honor

Can you imagine someone friend-zoning Patrick Dempsey? Honestly, it is pretty genius. It's such a cute movie and will surely make you laugh and cry. (There is also another Grey's favorite in this movie.)

2. Valentine's Day

I think some of the best movies are where there are interconnected stories between the cast members. This movie is full of beloved actors.

3. Can't Buy Me Love

Have you ever wondered what Patrick Dempsey looked like when he was younger? Now you can go back to 1987 and appreciate how dorky he could be back then.

4. Enchanted

We all remember watching Enchanted, but do any of us actually remember that Patrick Dempsey is in it?

5. Sweet Home Alabama

He's New York City's most eligible bachelor being brought home to meet the parents of his fiancé in good ol' Alabama.

6. Bridget Jone's Diary

If you're a Bridget Jones fan, you have to admit that you were stoked to hear that Bridget's potential new love interest would be Patrick Dempsey. Even British women are into him.

7. Lucky 7

Do you have some weird quirk? A 5 date rule? Well this girl's mother told her true love will come with her 7th relationship. Will it be Patrick Dempsey or the other guy?

8. Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

If you need a break from this chick flick-a-thon but still want to see Patrick Dempsey, turn on this Transformers movie.

9. Flypaper

Another non-chick flick-ish movie where Patrick Dempsey protects a woman he's secretly in love with.

While he's aging like a fine wine, we can still appreciate young Dempsey and still cry over his absence on Grey's Anatomy.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
