As many people enter college, one of the first questions they are asked is, "Are you going to be Greek?" Greek life can be considered an essential part of college students across the country. Throughout the hit show, "Parks and Recreation," there are many references to where several characters attended college. Then the question arose within me, "were they Greek?" From Chi Omega to Delta Zeta, here is a compiled list of who was Zeta to who was a DZ.

Leslie Knope is a Chi Omega.

"To be, in the best sense democratic rather than elusive, and lovable rather than popular." The Deputy Director of the Pawnee City Department of Parks and Recreation embodies not only that line of the Chi Omega symphony but many others. Leslie is also lovable, respectable, full of energy, independent, and simply a dream to behold. She's essentially the perfect baby hootie.

Ann Perkins is a Phi Mu.

Also known as "The Faithful Sisters," Ann has always been the constant friend to anyone from Leslie to April on the show. She may be a beautiful rule-breaking moth, but she's no pushover. Ann holds faithful to herself, and her friends, making her the most beautiful chestnut-haired Phi Mu.

April Ludgate-Dwyer is a Zeta.

April is the one in Pioneer Hall that acts as if she despises everyone and everything there, but underneath that, she loves everyone and every aspect of it. She may not be the one to intentionally stand out, but when she chooses to, everyone takes notice. April is classy, witty, and pretty; a hidden Zeta Tau Alpha gem in Pawnee.

Chris Traeger is a Tri Delt.

Literally the most positive, optimistic, and outgoing person to come into the world. Chris can befriend anyone and make that person fall in love with his charm and charisma. He radiates the glow of a Delta Delta Delta, and will shine until he hopefully dies at the age of 150.

Ben Wyatt is an Alpha Chi Omega.

Known for his hard work ethic, Ben gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Even though he is known as the resident geek of Pawnee, Ben is often found being the sweetheart everyone wishes they had. Like a true AXO, he lives the life he loves, whether that is through "Game of Thrones" or "The Cones of Dunshire," while looking stunning.

Jerry Gergich is an Alpha Delta Pi.

Jerry is the steadfast person in the office. He is reliable in his actions and is also the first one pipe up when someone needs a hand. Jerry (or Larry or Lenny or Gerry) attempts to make friends with anyone, makes the best out of any situation, and continues to smile when everything is his life continues to go wrong. He is the teddy bear of Pawnee.

Donna Meagle is a Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Donna upholds the stereotype because of her fun-loving, awesome, and spunky attitude. She is often found being the center of attention, soaking up the glory. Men flock to her from every angle, and she handles it with sass and charm. Donna is a natural-born leader, and teaches everyone that it's not bad to "treat yo' self."

Tom Haverford is a Delta Gamma.

Known for his fashion choices and ridiculous business plans, Tom can be dubbed as the "life of the party." Never one to miss a chance to socialize, Tom is the quality guy everyone wants on their arm at formal. He turns any boring situation into a less-boring situation and looks great in his black-tie-optional everyday attire.

Andy Dwyer is a Delta Zeta.

Andy and his free spirit capture the essence of a Delta Zeta. He is open with his feelings, always saying what exactly is on his mind no matter how quirky it is. He puts a smile on everyone's face no matter the time of the day. Andy has the DZ charm and the sparkle in his eye, making him impossible not to love.

Ron Swanson is a Kappa Alpha Theta.

Ron embodies the Theta spirit by being a natural-born leader. Ron is never afraid to say what he wants done, and how he wants it done. He comes off with a tougher exterior, but deep down he is the person that people run to when they need a friend to guide them in their next steps. He is the go-to friend to anyone that needs one.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
