10 Types Of People In A Friend Group As Told By "Parks And Recreation"

Every friend group is different because no two people are the same. But sometimes certain behaviors can be tossed around across the board. Here are 10 types of people that can be seen in different friend groups as told by the cast of the hit TV comedy "Parks and Recreation."

1. The Over Achiever

Leslie Knope: Hard working, ambitious, the go-getter! They are always happy to do things for other people. They start and finish projects way before the due date and they probably overdo the project as well. You want them on your group project team because they will most likely do all the work.

2. The Food Lover

Ron Swanson: They. Can. Eat. They love their food. Don't even try to steal a bite. They might even buy the whole menu. If they come to a party, it better have food.

3. The Goofball

Andy Dwyer: Hilarious, lovable and always puts a smile on your face. They might not be the brightest, but they sure know how to make your day better. Sometimes they say things that mean a lot to you and they don't even know it.

4. The Sarcastic One

April Ludgate: Sarcasm is their second language, so don't expect a straight answer the first time. They're probably not open with their emotions and might not tell you they like you to your face, but deep down they have a big heart and love you!

5. The Diva

Donna Meagle: The fashionista, the partier and a little competitive. They have to look the best and be seen at the best parties. They love "treating themselves" to fine goods, and they most likely have enough money to keep them happy.

6. The Wannabe

Tom Haverford: Very similar to the Diva. They also love to lather themselves with the current fads. They are big headed and think highly of themselves. They have their own cool lingo and have a lot of "swag." They also dream big and will do anything to reach that goal.

7. The Klutz

Garry/Jerry/Larry/Terry Gergich: They are very clumsy at whatever they are doing. They are always there when you need a laugh, but you are most likely laughing at something they did. They are used to embarrassment and have gotten used to it. Now, they brush it off and laugh with you.

8. The Single One

Anne Perkins: The single one that shouldn't be single. Despite how attractive they are, they are awkward when it comes to dating. They hate being single, but it's hard for them to find someone perfect. They are always there when you need them and are always up for a party.

9. The Motivational One

Chris Traeger: Optimistic, cheerful and happy! They always offer you the best, well-thought-out advice. They are your personal cheerleader and will be there every step of the way. They offer compliments daily and are always excited about everything.

10. The Nerd

Ben Wyatt: They are probably smart in all things from math to "Game of Thrones." They are your go-to when you need help with homework, or when you want to nerd out and have a "Lord of the Rings" marathon.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
