January 27th marked the end of Couture week in Paris, Aka the end of some of the most prestigious, glamorous garments walking the run for the spring-summer season. So here's an update to my
1. Iris van Herpen's Optical Illusions

Iris van Herpen debuted a show of eye-boggling monochromatic dresses using her innovative futuristic fashion sense to create hand sculpted masterpieces of art.
2. Chanel's Iconic final look worn by Lily Rose Depp

Johnny Depp's 17-year-old daughter strutted the iconic ruffled gown down the couture runway this past week. The structured gown brought so much inspiration to one and all alike, aka me. I'm so obsessed with this!
3. Viktor & Rolf's Recycled Wonders

Viktor & Rolf gave some couture gowns an all new look, repairing them with accents and luxury fabrics resembling broken china pieced together almost like a messy mosaic.
4. Valentino's New Solo Designer Debut

Pierpaolo Piccioli released his first line as the new Solo Designer of Valentino this past week. The runway was covered in Sheer fabrics, muted tones, and shapeless silhouettes. Hopefully the first of many gorgeous collections during his "reign".
5. Givenchy's Victorian Homage

From High necks to Lacy finishes, The latest Givenchy collection screamed Victorian era. The lacy detail in each gown told its own story. From a fairytale duchess to a soon-to-be queen attending her own coronation, The storylines are endless.
6. Schiaparelli's Modern-Day Princess

The modern day princess could be seen wearing some of the chicest of chic looks which came down Schiaparelli's runway. Each pop of color complimenting and accenting each garment's elegant shape without overpowering the overall style sense of collection. It was definitely an eye-popping and aesthetically pleasing collection.
7. Jean Paul Gaultier's Pop of Color and Homage to the 80's

Jean Paul Gaultier Embracing one of the biggest trends of 2017, the 80's. Pop of color, Neon Accents, Messy Bangs, Tousled Braids. The runway definitely showed a little bit of what you should expect from this entire year.
