Get your tissues ready, because if you have never tuned in for an episode of Parenthood on NBC, you're gonna need them. Parenthood is the kind of show that no matter what has happened in your life, chances are it has happened to a character in the show. Some of the most heart wrenching things that happened to the cast that were most relatable were:

1. Christina gets cancer.

Many families have been down the nasty road of cancer all around the world, and this season of Parenthood shows viewers so much of what happens behind the scenes. Whether you've been a part of the long journey, or have not, it is a season of feeling that sorrow, or learning what its like to feel the sorrow of the terrible truths of cancer.

2. Victor gets adopted.

Many families around the world have children that were adopted, and that is just what Julia and Joel did. Adopting Victor was a huge hassle for Julia, especially Victor being an older child. Sydney and Victor failed to get along time and time again and Victor rebelled a lot throughout his first year. But through all the adjustments, Victor grew up to be a great boy that brought much joy to the Braverman Clan. Parenthood shows the struggles and the great memories and bonds formed in a household with an adopted child.

3. Growing up without a Father.

So many single moms out there have done a fantastic job of raising kids on their own, just like Sarah did. Drew and Amber grew up without a father in their life, but Zeek never failed to be the father figure they needed. Through all the struggles of being a single mom, we go along a emotional journey with Sarah throughout the series.

4. The struggle of running a business, especially with a sibling.

As many have run businesses locally and from scratch, imagine doing it with your sibling. Although the business was an enormous factor into Crosby and Adams stress, they never gave up on it, and make unforgettable memories as their company grew.

5. Losing a Father or a Grandfather

Everyone at some point of their life will lose a father or a grandfather, and nothing was as heart breaking as Zeek Braverman's death. Zeek was the role model to every single person in that family, and his passing made viewers emotionally unstable. Zeek was heart of the entire family, and with that they ended the series in a great way. Zeek loved baseball, and was honored in the last minutes of the series finale as they spread his ashes on the little league field and played one last game of ball.

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
