If it hasn't already shown on your Facebook timeline, then I suggest that you head over to YouTube to watch @FloandJoan sing about everything that went wrong in the year of 2016. Disclaimer: There wasn't a bombing in Nice, so they have their facts wrong there. Language may be a bit strong too.

Now that you've just a clever mashup of all the crazy things that have happened this year, let me give you some pretty awesome things that have gone right in the past twelve months.

1. Tigers and Giant Pandas are growing!

The Tiger population has increased this year by 22% since 2010, according to the World Wildlife Fund, and Giant Pandas are no longer endangered. So YAY! for animals!

2. Saving the planet is the new style

On Black Friday, Patagonia donated their $10 million dollars in sales all to grassroots, environmental groups. The company made and donated around 5 times what they expected! Go Earth!

3. The Zika Virus

IT'S NO LONGER A GLOBAL THREAT!

4. ALS ICEBUCKET CHALLENGE

Yes, I know that this was the thing in 2015, but it didn't make an impact until the summer of 2016. Our donated money found a new gene that carries the disease, meaning more prevention and cures are on the way!

5. Absentee Ballots

College students and misplaced people cast an overwhelming and record-breaking number of absentee ballots in the 2016 presidential election, and let me tell you that every vote counted. It does matter if you don't vote.

6. The Olympics

Not only did America win the medal count again and take home the first gold of the games, but did we all see Simone Biles conquer the gymnastics mat? She didn't even take all golds and she was still seen as the most athletic, along side Michael Phelps. America has some amazing athletes, too bad the election overshadowed that.

7. People are Finally Seeing Color!

This year, two brothers saw color for the first time!

8. A Woman is Going on Our $20

Harriet Tubman

9. Nemo Found Dory!

Finding Dory finally hit theaters and was a huge hit with not only the little kids, but all of the now college students who group up watching Dory find Nemo!

10. World Crime Decline

It's estimated that in 2016 world crime has showed a decline since the past several decades.

11. Pokemon Go Released

The summer of 2016 brought out the new mobile game of Pokemon Go. It got all the tech savy, Pokemon fans out and about to try to catch the creatures all throughout the world. The game attracted not only the younger generation, but the original Pokemon fans too!

Now, theres so many great things that have happened in this interesting year of 2016.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
