Nothing in life is easy. Jumping over hurdles, climbing mountains and facing our biggest challenges in life are never easy tasks.

But, there's a way of doing all of that.

You have to start with believing in yourself. You have to tell yourself you can do it, nothing can stop you, no one will stop you and you will do what it takes to rise to the top.

I've learned over the course of 20 years, it's all in the mind. You are in control of who you are and the choices you make. Therefore, you have to tell yourself you are in control. You can overcome anything. You are powerful. You are strong. You are brilliant. You are almighty.

It may seem easier when other people give us advice and spread positivity, but it's really you who is in control of the decisions you actually make.

Don't give up when you've fallen nine times because a little birdie told me that you'll get up 10. Don't give up when all else seems to fail. Keep going. Don't give up when you keep making mistakes. You'll find your answer. Don't give up when others belittle you. Fighting in silence speaks louder than words.

Don't stop doing what you're passionate about just because someone told you you're terrible at what you do. Don't let the minds and words of others affect the choices you make.

In fact, use the negativity in life as motivation to prove people wrong – not that you need to prove anything to anyone. But, it will send a message that people can't get to you, people can't break you, people are just challenges and you are capable of overcoming anything.

Because you can, and you will.

You are capable of anything. You can overcome anything. You can overcame any challenge that comes your way. You just need to believe in yourself and tell yourself you can and you will.

It's all in the mind. You are in control.
