Outdoor Activities That Uses Rope

Whoever invented the rope deserves one of the most luxurious awards on the planet. Dating back 5500 to 6000 years ago, there is a rumor that the Egyptians are the first civilized society to make ropes that could really do amazing things. That aside, there are so many things you can do with a rope, ranging from securing objects into place to entertainment, adventure, and exercise are among its other uses. Speaking of exercise and adventure, ropes are overly common amongst outdoor activity enthusiasts. There are tons of activities where the rope is the major item used, and most of these are excellent for thrill-seekers, and people who need some outdoor fun as they get away from the usual hassles of life.

Rock/Mountain Climbing

Nothing beats the thrill of climbing high rocks, hills, and mountains. The adventure can get a bit scary sometimes, but you're always safe if you've practiced right, have the right climbing gear, and you trust your gut in every move you make. In other words, your safety always depends a lot on your gear and the strength of your ropes, especially when it comes to ropes. Well, the thing is, there are many rope manufacturers and brands out there, and not all will guarantee your safety when up there. The folks from MLR say that if you're looking for something sturdy and proven, the Maxim brand is among the ropes you can trust to guarantee your safety in rock climbing. With a strong and durable rope along with harnesses and reliable complimentary supplies, your rock-climbing experience is taken to another level. You will have less to worry about and more to explore, knowing that your safety is guaranteed.

Bungee Jumping

If you're a lover of extreme sports and super-thrilling adventures, bungee jumping is one of those activities you should have on your bucket list. It involves harnessing yourself with ropes from great heights and diving into the air. It is a really thrilling experience that comes with a lot of benefits to the participant. For instance, bungee jumping is known to help relieve stress, teach people to overcome their fears and help boost emotional intelligence. This is all while creating awesome memories and strengthening your muscles. Most importantly, it can be an amazing activity to explore the world.

However, there's also another version that is done by three people or more, where two participants spin the rope from both sides while the others jump in the center. This one is common in kids, but it's also done by adults in team building and other social events. There are also many games around rope jumping, created to add some fun, add motivation, and improve your jumping skills. Some of these include:

  • Jump the river
  • Snake
  • Helicopter
  • Cat and mouse
  • Jump rope challenge
  • And many more

This is another common activity amongst employees for team building events or other social events. The best part about it is that it is a competitive kind of game where there are two teams on each side of the rope. Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
