3. You'll learn a lot.
GiphyNot only will all those awesome classes you're going to take teach you a lot, but your experiences will too. Those adventures that you get to go on because of that newfound freedom I mentioned earlier will teach you a whole lot more than your classes ever will.
4. Your friends will become your "family".
GiphyOne of the biggest struggles with going away to college is the fact that you're leaving your family at home. Luckily, you'll have friends that you will spend every day with that will become your "family" for the time being.
5. The experience is everything.
GiphyGoing away to college is truly an experience that I believe everyone should have. Just within the past year, I have had so many new and amazing experiences and I have learned so much more about myself than I could possibly have imagined. Living in the tiny dorms, eating ramen, pulling all-nighters, and figuring out who you are is what college is all about and I wouldn't want to miss out on any part of it!
