Anyone else starting to feel their motivation levels drop? I know I can't be the only one. We are a few weeks into the classes and just now starting to establish what our permanent routine will be for the semester. If you feel yourself slowly slipping back into that funk there are thankfully ways to get out of it. Keep reading to discover ten mantras to recite whenever you need an extra burst of determination!

1. "For every minute spent organizing, a hour is earned." -Benjamin Franklin

Organizing can be a daunting task and easily become something that adds more stress than necessary. However, if you have ever felt that feeling of what it is like to be truly organized you quickly begin to learn why some people are so adamant about being organized.

2. Good things come to those who hustle.

Study hard. Don't procrastinate. Get eight hours of sleep. Go to class. Being "busy" doesn't have to stressful. Create a schedule that works for you and stick to it. Continue to work everyday towards your ultimate goal.

3. Rise & Grind ... It's Monday

Monday's have a bad reputation. They symbolize the start of the work week and leave us feeling stressed. Get rid of that mentality. Think of Monday's as a fresh start! Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change, right?

4. Live less out of habit, and more out of intent.

Every time you sit down to do your homework try looking at the big picture. You are doing it for your overall grade, and maybe your career. Don't allow your days to blur together. Focus on what you are doing and do it with intent.

5. Surround yourself with people who get it.

Whatever 'it' is, make sure the people around you get 'it.' Surround yourself with like-minded people and support them in their ventures as they do you with yours. Goal-oriented people will help keep you motivated.

6. Don't call it a dream... call it a plan.

We all know the saying "dreams do come true" and they do... if you work for them! Figure out the steps you need to take to achieve your dream and make it happen.

7. You are what you do, not what you say.

Going off of the affirmation above, remember to turn your words into action. It's easy to talk, but it's the actions that are going to make a difference.

8. A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.

It takes courage to step outside your comfort zone, and chances are you are going to have to break down that wall sooner or later. Remember, the most growth is going to occur when you take a risk!

9. You are entirely up to you.

In the end, you are the one that is going to determine where you go life. Not happy? Then, it's time to make a change!

10. Everything is figure-out-able.

Whenever you are stuck just remember that you can figure out... whatever it is.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help.
