We all know we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but when that cover is in all the tabloids and on every news station, it can be a little hard to resist. There's nothing the world loves more than a good old fashioned, celebrity break down. Whether you keep up with the Kardashians or pick up your favorite magazines in line at the grocery store, we're all guilty jumping on the celebrity-gossiping bandwagon. And while most of this talk turned out to be passing rumors, some of these moments became legendary. Here are our reactions to the nine most famous celebrity meltdowns.

1. Britney Spears

We all love our babe Britney, but when she had her hair-shaving, baseball-bat-smashing episode in 2007, we all thought her behavior was a littletoxic.

But then we started to rationalize the situation because she’s still Britney, bitch.

2. Amanda Bynes

When we first saw our beloved child star's psychotic tweets we were all a little worried about her.

But when she started tweeting nudes we knew we had had enough.

3. Miley Cyrus

When Old Miley started turning into New Miley it broke our achy breaky hearts.

But then we realized we actually like her music better since the switch so we learned to embrace the new her.

4. Kanye West

We actually weren't all that surprised that Kanye tried to embarrass T-Swift at the VMAs.

Because we all knew that Kanye is just Kanye and there’s nothing we can do about it.

5. Justin Bieber

When Justin started getting in trouble with the law we thought we were losing our damn minds.

But then we were cool with it because it was just his rebellious phase.

6. Paula Deen

We didn’t want Paula's the slur allegations to be true in 2013.

But then we thought that everyone might be a little better off if she wasn’t on television anymore.

7. Chris Brown

We were devastated when we heard about what Chris Brown did to Rihanna.

But we stopped feeling bad for her when she got back with him.

8. Lindsay Lohan

We were all in denial when we first heard about Lindsay’s break down.

But after all was said and done we just really missed the good old days and hoped she’d get better soon.

9. Donald Trump

I think we're all pretty sure Trump's entire existence has been a 69 year long break down.

And to be honest, we're all still pretty terrified of it.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
