Planet Earth has had serious issues of pollution since the 1950's. As time has moved, the world has become increasingly dirty and unfit for natural life to thrive. Unforgivably, these dire situations which need to be fixed, are not on Trump's to-do list.
One of the highest concentrated environments, when it comes to high levels of pollution, is evidently cities. When driving on highways like I90 (located in the third biggest city in the world) or Highway 50 (in Sacramento) traffic goers are surrounded by miles of trash.
Garbage pollution is one of the largest causing factors of bacterial infections and diseases, like malaria and typhoid. Even worse, when humans burn garbage in order to remove it, harmful gases are leaked into the air. These leaked gases negatively effect our breathing and intake of many possible side effects.
Local residents living in urban environments shouldn't have to wake up, walk, or drive in such treacherous conditions, but no changes are being prioritized.
Annually, water pollution is one of the worst forms of deterioration. Each day the rate of water pollution increases to intolerable rates; as over two million tons of trash get dumped into our fresh and salt waters every single day.
With the world's water supply coming to a short level, there is no reason why humans should be damaging their main resources. Humans need water in order to survive, but it is proved that out of the 70% of our water on the planet, only 2.5% is available for digestion. Not to mention, the one million sea animals that are killed every year by the high density of pollution.
It's important for humans to take care of the planet. For the amount of resources, life, and knowledge this world has given us is more than any human mind is capable of achieving. Although, If the world continues to move at paces like this, who knows when our last day will be.
