Running farther away without any grace we fell
Only to find what we put to waste.
Excuses were found to throw all around,
Keeping from what could have been a house with one name.
We fixed the house with our name
Etched in the walls, forever engraved.
Crafted the broken to beauty ablaze
With mercy and blessings, give thanks to His Grace.
Redeeming the lost, which cored our hearts,
Turning to gold what once was farce,
More precious than pearls thrown down and crushed,
From the home that is built we swept out the dust
Away from the embers that flicker with trust.
