If you live in Ohio, you know it can easily feel as though there is absolutely nothing to do and nowhere to go. But Ohio is home to a lot of secret gems that you may have never even heard of. So on the next sunny day this summer, grab some of your friends, pile in your car and experience these amazing places Ohio has to offer.

1. The Dairy Hut

For over 40 years, the Dairy Hut (located at 42 S Main St. Pataskala, OH 43062), has served customers the absolute best soft-serve ice cream around in a variety of 30 flavors. They also serve shakes, floats and 2-3 layer sundaes (the Buckeye sundae is a must-try for any first timers). In addition they serve coney dogs, brots and sandwiches. Opening in April, they are a must this summer.

2. Skyview Cruise-In Theater

A drive-in theater can be hard to find now a days but Lancaster, Ohio is home to its very own. They offer 2 movies a night (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for all ages as well as concessions only a short walk away from the comfort of your car. So on a nice evening, pile up some blankets and pillows in your car and go enjoy this old time favorite! (Address: 2420 E Main St. Lancaster, OH)

3. Old Man's Cave

If adventuring is more your thing then take a road trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio (off of state route 664)- the home of Old Mans Cave. With various trails for walking or hiking, cabins, camping, fishing, mini-golf, and various shops you are bound to be entertained for a long time at Old Man's cave.

4.Brandywine Falls

Cuyahoga Valley National Park holds one of the most beautiful trails in Ohio. Carved by Brandywine Creek, the 65-foot falls are awaiting you at the end of the trail. You can even take a 1.5 mile trail to explore beyond the waterfall or visit the Inn located there. So pack a lunch and spend the day exploring. (Address: 8176 Brandywine Road in Sagamore Hills Township)

5. Donut trail

If you're a fan of donuts, then listen up. Your dream awaits you in Butler County, Ohio, home of the donut run. This "run" features 9 donut shops in the area and once you complete it and turn in your passport you even get a free t shirt as proof that you ate all those donuts. Just make sure you have an empty stomach before you begin..

Whether you're adventurous or a food lover, these places are sure to make this summer one to remember.

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
