Every year when the award season comes around, everyone has their favorites and aren't afraid to share their opinions. Some opinions are more popular than others, like how all things in the world works. Throughout the start of this award season, Rami Malek was a favorite for an Oscar, due to his stellar performance and his previous wins for the work. That assumption went true when he, in fact, did win the Academy Award for Lead Actor. Winners in the category show great performance and phenomenal acting, among other things, all which Rami portrayed in his acting of Freddie Mercury. in "Bohemian Rapsody."

1. He makes you fall in love with Queen [even more].

A viewer can see some of the ups and downs that the band had over the years and how they progressed and continued to be a great group of individuals who became a family. Such a movie and performance by the cast makes you feel like you get a look at their inner life and experience a closeness to some truly spectacular people.

2. Sometimes one actually thinks he is The Freddie Mercury.

The acting, the mannerisms, and the performances are so spot on to the real Freddie Mercury that it's easy to think in the middle of the movie that you are actually watching the real man. Viewers made comparison videos showing scenes in the movie and the real-life moments and they appear mirrorlike. It's no easy to copy a person inside and out, but Rami does a pretty good job at encompassing Mercury and showing the man he was.

3. He works flawlessly with the fake teeth.

Freddie Mercury had four additional insures, causing him to have a slightly larger mouth than many. For Rami to get totally into character, he had to look the part, therefore donning fake teeth. He uses them perfectly and again looks very similar to the real man, which is no easy feat.

4. The Queen band mates and his sister are fans of his work.

Rami has gotten approval from the Queen bandmates, as well as Freddy Mercury's sister. He had meetings and conversations with them to get to know the real Freddie and after the movie was complete they stated they thought Rami was wonderful and did a great job portraying such a loved friend and brother.

5. He was practically born for the role.

Freddie Mercury was a child born in Zanzibar who came to England later as a child. Being an immigrant child was hard enough, especially for a child a bit different, like Freddie. Rami, like Freddie, is from an immigrant family, himself being born in Egypt and later moving the United States. Having such experiences made him perfect for honing in his acting and perfecting the role of Freddie.

Enough said, if you have not watched the movie, go watch it now!

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
