The 89-th Academy Awards (aka The Oscars) air Sunday, February 26th on ABC. Such a big occasion deserves an epic watch party. The question is: how does one throw an epic watch party? Wonder know more. Here are some tips on how to throw an awesome Oscar watch party.

1.Invite lots of friends

Oscar Sunday is a big event and the perfect opportunity to invite your friends over to party! Invite your closest friends. Invite friends you haven't talked to in a while. The more, the merrier!

2. Dress Code

Now you don't have to do anything fancy...unless you want to. Dressing up for the Oscars might be fun. If you're more in the mood to relax, try having a pajamas-and-pearls dress code.

3. Oscar Ballots

Oscar ballots are a fun and easy way to add a game/competition to your watch party. Have everyone fill out a ballot before the show begins. At the end of the night see who had the best guesses about the winners.

4. Award Oscar statuettes

You can buy little plastic statuettes at the party store and hand them out as party favor as your guests leave. Or you can have your own awards ceremony and give them to your guests as awards for certain things like Best Dressed. Either way, you're guests are going to love going home with their very own Oscar.

5. Have lots of food.

A party is only as good as its food. Make sure you've got lots of food for people to enjoy. If you don't want to make it all yourself, then do a potluck and ask guests to each bring a dish. Make sure you've got plenty of popcorn on hand. If you're trying to impress with food try making Academy Award-shaped sugar cookies.

6. Have drinks on hand.

How are you supposed to celebrate without a drink in hand? Champagne is a popular choice to toast the Oscars. It's classy and the ultimate celebratory drink. Why let the stars be the only ones enjoying a little bubbly?

7. Decorations

Decorations can make or break a party. It's the Oscars so why not go all out? Gold is the key color for the awards show so use it as your go-to color. Gold balloons. Gold plates and utensils. Maybe even roll out the red carpet for your guests.

8. Watch the Oscars Live

Obviously, you need to watch the Oscars since that's why you're all there, right? Enjoy the show and have a great time commenting on the winners with your friends!

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
