Awards season is in full-swing, and The Academy has officially announced its nominees for the 2019 Oscars! This year, the announcement brought with it several surprises and even more disappointing snubs.

The 2019 Oscars have been making headlines for months now, since previously-named host, Kevin Hart, dropped out of the position only hours after being selected due to a series of his homophobic tweets resurfacing online. Recently it was revealed that, for the first time in nearly 3 decades, this year's Academy Awards will go on without a host. Instead, the show will rely on several A-list celebrities to introduce various segments throughout the night.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there.
