To believe in optimism is a difficult thing.
It is to sit in a dark room and be certain of the light.
It is to have nothing and be certain you can still have something to bring.
It is to feel anger and crave peace.
And know that at the very least,
you are in control.
To believe is to know.
To know that however bad the bad gets, there are still good people out there.
There is still happiness, there is still love.
It is to be pushed down, and walked on, and still believe in the power of your voice.
It is to see nothing but hate, but envision nothing but peace.
And know that, no matter how hard it seems, you still have a choice.
But most importantly, to believe in optimism is to believe in the power of tomorrow.
The sun will come up and you can hit reset.
Let go of your sorrow.
Keep optimism alive.
Be lighter than the dark.
Be stronger than the hate.
